Limerick Rugby player to join Love Island villa tonight—and fans already want him to crack on with Maura

THAT’S LIMERICK City!

Irish Love Island fans are buzzing today with the reveal that the newest entry to the house is Limerick man Greg O’Shea.

The 24-year-old professional Rugby player recently helped clinch a win for the Irish team in Hong Kong and posted a photo with a heartfelt message to his Instagram page.

Even more exciting is the news that he already has his eye on Irish favourite Maura Higgins from Longford, who joined the villa near the beginning of the 5th series.

Speaking to RTE, Greg said “I’d say me and Maura will hit it off straight away,” as “she’s very naturally funny, and she’s gorgeous as well so you never know.”

But he is eager to keep his options open, adding “I need to get in the villa and see what the story is and who is good craic”.

With Maura currently cracking on with Curtis after a messy, drama-fuelled couple of episodes, it will be interesting to see how the two Irish contestants hit it off—and some fans are already willing the two to get together.

Fans will get the chance to see Greg's entry to the villa on tonight's episode, which airs at 9pm on ITV2.

Whatever happens, the new addition is sure to bring some vitality to the series, which is scheduled to finish at the end of this month.
