Laura Whitmore to co-host IFTAs with Simon Delaney

TV PRESENTER Laura Whitmore is set to co-host next month's Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) in Dublin.

The London-based 28-year-old will present alongside Simon Delaney – who has overseen the proceedings for three years - at the ceremony on April 5.

"I'm delighted to be co-hosting the IFTAs with Simon this year. We're going to have a lot of fun! I've watched Simon host over the last few years and he's brilliant, so I can't wait to work with him,” she said.

The 11th Annual IFTAs ceremony will return to its roots at the newly refurbished Double Tree Hotel in Ballsbridge, following last year's event at the National Convention Centre.
