Late Late Toy Show to be made available for Irish in Britain

RTÉ’s Late Late Toy Show will be available to watch around the world after the Irish state broadcaster confirmed that fans outside Ireland will be able to watch tomorrow night’s live broadcast.

The popular show, presented by Ryan Tubridy, will be available via an international version of the RTÉ Player.

The Toy Show, which is the world’s longest-running chat show, will not be subsequently geo-locked on the Player, offering fans across the globe the opportunity to catch up at a later time.

According to reports, Tubridy is expected to perform a dance in this Friday’s show and will be joined by 11-year-old co-host Fergal Smith.

The Co. Cavan schoolboy’s wish to appear on the programme was granted by Tubridy after the youth sent the broadcaster a letter.

Last year, the Toy Show was the most watched TV event in Ireland with nearly one-and-a-half million tuning in to the show.
