IT was a quiet weekend for Irish stars at the Golden Globes, but one Kerry-man was certainly well represented at the glamorous awards ceremony.
Irish-born designer Don O’Neill – based in New York – is the creative director behind Theia, the label on the dress of reality TV star Khloe Kardashian when she hosted the awards’ after party.
The younger sister of Kanye West’s famous other-half, Kim, shared an Instagram picture of herself in the stunning-fitted gown, which boasts a thigh-high leg slit.
The outfit was completed with shoes by Christian Louboutin and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz.
The photo has received 759K likes since Sunday night.
O’Neill explained that he was delighted to find out that one of the Kardashian sisters would be wearing his dress.
He described the “Kardashian effect” as “incredible” and “unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.”
Other stars who have worn a Theia gown in recent years include Oprah and singers Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.
