SINGER Grace Foley hails from Killarney in Co. Kerry.
Just before lockdown she recorded a long-awaited version of Danny Boy with Brendan O’Connor at Little Dylan Recording Studio in her hometown.
This month she has released that song and a video too – which she claims was “recorded on the last day of 'normality', March 12”.
She adds: “We stood by the lakeside at the Hotel Europe, Killarney, unaware that decisions being made [about lockdown] would soon change everything.”
