JACK Whitehall has apologised – in his own way – to all the celebrities he insulted with his jokes at the 2018 BRIT Awards, ahead of this year's show tonight.
The British comedian, 30, is returning to host the ceremony for the second year running but did little to make amends in a series of videos posted on social media.
He first 'apologised' to Ed Sheeran for making an "innappropriate" comment about the red-headed singer being "unable to tan", adding: "Don’t blame me, blame God".

And in an equally insincere apology to former One Direction star Niall Horan, Whitehall said: "I would like to say sorry to Niall Horan".
Putting on a faux Irish accent, the comic continued: "Hello Niall. I am sorry little Niall... I love you really".
Looking off camera, Whitehall added: "Did I patronise him again?"
Horan tweeted back simply: "We're not mates anymore."

To singer Sam Smith, Whitehall said: "I may have insinuated your music is a little boring. Not true. Sorry.
"I was listening to your music in an Uber the other day and I was like ‘this is really, really good’. And when I woke up the driver he agreed."
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood also received an 'apology', before Whitehall joked to the cameraman: "Is he still alive? He’s still with us yeah? OK that’s fine. If he’s not we should cut that one."
Earlier this week, Whitehall announced two massive Irish shows as part of his new UK & Ireland tour at Dublin's 3Arena on December 17 and 18.
The 39th annual BRIT Awards will be broadcast live on ITV tonight from 8pm.
