IRISH viewers of Britain’s Got Talent in the Republic of Ireland will have chance to vote for their favourite acts in the live semi-finals.
It is thought that the move may bolster the chances of Navan teenagers Jack Duff, 13, and Cormac Connell, 14, who have continued to impress Britain’s Got Talent Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
The teenage duo are now through to the competition's live semi-finals.
The boys from Meath received a standing ovation with a rendition of the Of Monsters and Men song 'Little Talks' in their audition last week.
In final auditions the judges whittled the acts down to just 45 and the Irish performers made the cut.
They will now join other popular contestants, including impressionist Francine Lewis, comedian Jack Carroll and singer Robbie Kennedy, for a week of live shows.
Viewers' vote will now determine who makes it through to the final, and ultimately the Royal Variety Performance.
Betmakers paddypower.com has Jack and Cormac priced at 100/1 to win the talent contest outright.
The duo’s next performance will be on ITV tomorrow night (May 28) during the second live semi-final show.
