Irish radio presenter's studio boogie accidentally caught live on TV

AN Irish BBC Radio presenter unwittingly became a TV hit after being caught dancing live in the studio.

Maggie Doyle, the co-presenter on BBC Radio Kent's Breakfast Show, was unaware the webcam was rolling in the radio studio as she enjoyed a boogie at her microphone this morning.

Originally from Co. Wexford, the former Absolute Radio host broke out into the jovial dance routine only to be joined moments later by her co-presenter John Warnett.

As the pair began to realise their delightful disco moves were being broadcast live to viewers of BBC South East Today's news show - which had cut to the studio as part of its broadcast - the giggling radio hosts quickly tried to compose themselves.

Later, Maggie and John's colleagues were more than happy to point out the pair's antics, posting the video below along this message on Facebook:

"JOHN & MAGGIE: We're talking about things you can't predict this morning - well there's one thing you CAN predict ... if you're mucking around in front of a live camera it will be shown LIVE on BBC South East Today!!!! ‪#‎awkward‬"

Joking on social media afterwards, Maggie said: "Dancing is very important."

The Irish presenter joined the breakfast show in May 2014, saying at the time: "I look forward to working alongside John Warnett - and making the best Breakfast Radio with him!"

Looks like she's definitely delivering on that front.

Have a look...
