AN GARDA Síochána have released their top tips for punters ahead of this year's Galway Races - and their top picks might surprise you.
The seven day racing festival kicked off on Monday at Galway's Ballybrit racecourse, and will run until this Sunday, August 6.
Not one to miss out on a comic but safety advisory opportunity, the Twitter account for An Garda Síochána revealed their top picks for this year's races.
In the 5.20, Bell Tup is the top pick, while the 5.55 is En See Tee, with In Sur Antz and Tacks in the 6.26 and 7.05 respectively.
Unsurprisingly, Gardaí also advised Galway patrons to pick So Bore Drive Ore, Whit In Speed Limb It's, and Say F Home.
