Dougie Costello speaking on Morning Line
FORGETTING your wedding anniversary date can get you into serious trouble with your spouse, but forgetting it on live television is even worse.
This was what Irish Post columnist and veteran jockey Dougie Costello experienced when he speaking was on Channel 4's racing talk show Morning Line.
When Dougie was asked about his leg injury on the show (which he wrote about for The Irish Post here), he said it happened "a week before my wedding here in September 2011".
After this, his wife Aimee Ann Costello, who was watching the show, took to Twitter to tease him about forgetting the year they got married.
See what happened below...

She even posted a photo of their chopping board, which had the date of their anniversary, on the social media site...

This story has a happy ending, though, with Aimee forgiving him on Twitter...

Speaking to The Irish Post, Dougie said that Amiee didn't scold him too harshly because she "knows I've a bad memory", jokingly adding that the bottle of champagne he received from winning a race with Woody Bay at York that day made her feel better.
