Five days of Irish Film as festival returns to London

THE IRISH Film Festival London returns from November 19-23 for its fourth year.

Over five days the festival will screen six UK premieres as well as dramas, documentaries, animations, comedies and real-life inspirational tales at The Tricycle in Kilburn, Clapham Picturehouse, Hackney Picturehouse and Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) on The Mall.

Opening night takes place at The Tricycle in Kilburn on Wednesday, November 19 with An Brontannas (The Gift) a contemporary Irish crime thriller set against the backdrop of the Connemara coastline on the West of Ireland.

The festival will also feature a number of exclusive directors and cast Q&A sessions and a free public lecture by Professor Lance Pettitt. The award-winning Broken Song, a documentary by Director Claire Dix about GI, Costello and Willa Lee, two street poets from north Dublin, will be shown at The Tricycle on Friday, November 21.
