This Irish band invited everyone in town to 'come on down' for a street party session...then this happened

THERE are street parties and then there are Irish street parties.

Here's what happened when one city in Ireland kicked off its summer season with a little help from local band The Galway Street Club.

The band, according to its Facebook page, started almost as a joke in March 2016, when a 'group of individual buskers who play music on the streets decided to jam together'.

But if their recent street gig in Galway is anyhting to go by, they've quickly become something of a hit.

Joined by scores of revellers outside Monroe's Live, the band said afterwards: "It's been an intense few weeks full of epic gigs! We now have a little rest period before we are back on the stage again."

The party, in Galway's West End, was part of MojoCon Ireland - an international conference focusing on mobile journalism, filmmaking and photography that was taking part on the west of Ireland city.

Looks like the Tribesmen are in for a great summer if this is anything to go by...

Take a look at the two videos below to get into the street party spirit...

Come on down to the Street Party from 9-11 down in the West end!

Our goodselves will be providing entertainment ?
