IRISH fans of the hit series Friends get the opportunity to recreate their favourite scenes from the show from today.
The much-anticipated Friends Experience opens in Dublin this morning, following a successful European tour.
Located at the Theatre of Light in Point Square, the unique experience allows fans of the popular series - which first hit our screens in 1994 and enjoyed a 10-season run – to celebrate some of the most iconic moments from the show.
The interactive experience features a range of recreated sets from the show, including Monica’s kitchen and the iconic Friends fountain.
“Friends fans will be brought one step closer to their favourite characters as they take a look at the making of the show, costumes and props and recreate some of the most iconic moments from the globally loved television series, in this truly unique interactive experience, created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, Original X Productions and Warner Bros Television Group,” the creators confirm.
Doors open on the Dublin attraction today, with guests urged to take as many photos and videos of themselves enjoying the exhibition as possible.
The Irish location is the latest opening for the franchise, which also has branches in New York, Melbourne, Amsterdam, Salt Lake and Miami.
One of the highest-rated shows on television in its original network run, Friends remains a popular choice on streaming services, where it continues to be a smash hit worldwide.
The series follows the lives and loves of a close-knit group of friends living in New York City: namely siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), and their friends Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).
