KRIS KRISTOFFERSON is performing a UK exclusive gig (on his birthday!) in the grounds of Kenwood House on London’s Hampstead Heath later this month.
The iconic Me and Bobby McGee singer will be performing his greatest hits together with a tribute to his old friend Merle Haggard, with the help of Merle’s old band, The Strangers!
An incredible supporting line-up includes Rufus Wainwright, Ashley Campbell, Josh O’Keefe and Kerry-born actress Jessie Buckley.
Screen star Buckley, 28, will be performing in character from her upcoming movie Wild Rose as Rose-Lynn Harlan – a striving Glaswegian country music artist.
The evening will be compered by none other than the legendary BBC Radio 2 DJ - Whispering Bob Harris.
Gates at London's Kenwood House will open at 5pm on Friday, June 22 with event start at 6pm.
