A Game of Thrones touring exhibition is coming to Belfast

WINTER IS coming…to Belfast.

Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition will make its debut visit to the UK and Ireland at the TEC Belfast, Northern Ireland, for a limited run.

The exhibition combines costumes, authentic props and majestic settings from all seven seasons to create an interactive and immersive Game of Thrones experience like no other.

The largest Game of Thrones public display ever put together, the exhibition will open on the April 11th, 2019 running through to 1st September 1st, 2019 in the 5,000m-square venue and represents an important part of the show's incredible legacy in the region.

The exhibition will be located at the TEC Belfast which is in the footprint of the legendary Titanic Studios, where much of the series was filmed over a 10-year period.

Fans will be able to authentically immerse themselves in Westeros and Essos, as well as relive the trials and tribulations of those who struggle for survival in the shadow of the Iron Throne, ahead of the highly anticipated season eight release.

 

Game of Thrones fans given first tease of prequel series as plot and cast details emerge.

 

The exhibition will give fans the experience of a lifetime with an up-close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship behind the Emmy award-winning series, as well as the opportunity to:

  • Experience the wintry landscapes of the North and the tree-lined pathway of the Kingsroad.
  • View a garrison of Unsullied warriors and the iconic costumes of House Targaryen.
  • Step into the House of Black and White
  • Explore Castle Black, the home of the Night's Watch.
  • Battle for the Iron Throne.

This may not be the last fans see of the Westeros universe either.

With plans for a prequel series already in the works, one leading figure behind the scenes has already hinted that HBO could return to Ireland and Northern Ireland for more filming in the not-too-distant future.
