Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke reacts to Dublin museum’s Khaleesi waxwork

IT’S THE subject everyone in Ireland is talking about: Who signed off on Dublin Wax Museum’s tribute to Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke?

Unveiled to commemorate the show’s final season, the museum’s curators had hoped the waxwork would stand as a testament to the show’s impact on the Emerald Isle.

Much of the medieval fantasy series was filmed in Ireland, with the region’s tourism industry enjoying a significant shot in the arm as a result.

Fans will certainly be flocked to the Dublin Wax Museum too, but for the wrong reasons.

The newly-installed waxwork of Clark’s character, Khaleesi, has endured a lukewarm response online with one person claiming the model looks more like a hungover Katie
Hopkins than the Queen of Dragons.

Now in fresh twist Clarke has weighed into the debate.

Speaking during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Game of Thrones star reacted to the Dublin museum’s loving tribute to her work on the show.

And she definitely saw the funny side.

"Here's the funny thing. If anyone wants to know what my brother actually looks like, it's that. He looks like that,” she said.

“I mean, that's him with mascara and a wig. I mean, legitimately it's frightening. I was like 'that is my brother'.”

Clarke used the appearance on the show to offer fans a glimpse of what to expect from the final three episodes of the hit show, telling Kimmel the fifth episode is “mental” and “bigger” than any that has come before it.

"Four, five, and six. They're all insane," she added.
