The Frank and Walters announce London date with The Would Be's

CORK outfit The Frank and Walters are returning to London this month for a show at The Borderline on November 30

One of the most recognizable alternative rock bands from Ireland, The Franks first gained success in Britain in the 1990s with indie hits such as Fashion Crisis Hits New York and After All, which reached the top 20 in the UK Singles Chart.

The group also appeared on Top of the Pops in support of After All, which went as high as 5 in the Irish charts.

Support at their London show comes from Cavan outfit The Would Be’s whose debut album, Beautiful Mess, was released in Ireland earlier this year to critical acclaim.

The Would Be’s infamously turned down 14 major labels in the early 1990s following the release of John Peel and Morrissey acclaimed debut single, instead opting for an obscure indie and disappearing down an industry wormhole.

They’ve since reunited and finally released their debut album 20 years on.

To coincide with the gig, the band will release their new single on November 29 called Could Be The Weather.

Tickets for the gig are available through The Borderline venue's website.
