MUSIC FANS all over Ireland are rejoicing this morning as the first round of acts have been announced for Electric Picnic 2018.
The festival, held in Stradbally, County Laois in September of every year, has grown to become the biggest music festival in Ireland since Oxygen ended in 2013.
Among the first headliners to be announced are Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack and N.E.R.D.
Also on the list is pop sensation Dua Lipa, alongside Ben Howard, St Vincent, King Krule, George Ezra, Jungle and indie favourites, The Kooks.

More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, while organisers also revealed that a new venue will be added for this year's festival.
The festival takes place from the 31st August to the 2nd September and tickets are on sale now.
