AS WELL as the fantastic selection of top class music and dance taking place on the Trafalgar Square stage, there’s plenty more going on to keep all the family entertained on March 15.
Head to the North Terrace and visit the Children’s Marquee where all the family can take part in a selection of arts and crafts activities.
Vistors to the marquee can enjoy a range of fun and games from making homemade candles (watch the wax magically melt in your hand) to decorating pots of gold and treasure boxes with chocolate coins inside.
Or why not get into the spirit of St Patrick’s Day by following the rainbow to your very own crock of gold where you’ll get the chance to make shamrock-covered leprechaun hats to wear and keep.
And to help you look the part on Festival day there will also be volunteers on hand face-painting and giving out lots of St Patrick’s Day-themed nail art stickers.
Capture the moment
At the marquee look out for the special dress-up box full of great costumes to give you that St Patrick’s Day feeling and have your picture taken in the mini photo booth on site.
You might also spot pirate queen Grace O’Malley and Celtic warrior Fionn Mac Cumhaill, so make sure to say hi. There will also be lots of giant parade characters floating about so have your picture taken with them as the perfect souvenir.
