Controversial writer and commentator John Waters will take part in an Q&A session hosted by two London-Irish journalists, Ann Scanlon and JP O’ Malley, in well-known watering hole The Boogaloo later this month.
The discussion will concentrate on John Waters’ contribution to Irish culture over the course of his career and his earlier spells at the influential cultural magazines Hot Press, In Dublin and Magill.
The second half will consist of a debate about religion, the Catholic Church, marriage equality, gay rights, and other topics that continue to divide public opinion in Ireland today.
