VETERAN Met Eireann weather forecaster Evelyn Cusack managed to muddle her way through a TV presenter's nightmare live on Irish TV last night.
The Deputy Head of Forecasting at Met Éireann, Secretary of the Irish Meteorological Society, and well known RTÉ weather presenter had technical issues just minutes into her report yesterday when the wrong images appeared on screen behind her.
Cusack realised that the charts were incorrect and had to make the best of a bad lot and carry on.
"Eh, eh...sorry there seems to be a problem here", she said trying her best to recover.
"I'll just move on to this evening's weather, pardon me...ok, I think it's the wrong set of charts. Sorry about that...I'll just give you a verbal briefing on the weather now", said Cusack.
She managed to make it through the troubled report before promising to be back later with the correct weather charts.
Cusack celebrated her 21st year as a weather presenter on RTÉ television back in 2009.
