A DUTCH Schoolgirl has convinced onlookers in Dublin she is popstar Ariana Grande, after been flown to the city for a prank by doppelgänger website Twin Strangers.
Fifteen-year-old Joelle, who bares a striking resemblance to the famous American R&B singer, joined the website after friends from her hometown in the Netherlands kept commenting on the similarities between the two.
When the team behind Twin Strangers saw the likeness for themselves they offered to fly the teenager to Dublin to see if she could convince a crowd she was her doppelgänger.
Once in the city the schoolgirl was treated to the full VIP treatment, with having her hair and make up done by professionals and pulling up outside the Shelbourne Hotel in St Stephen's Green to be greeted by waiting paparazzi.
When the website leaked on social media that Ariana Grande was in town crowds of fans came looking for the singer, Joelle spent the rest of the day touring the city taking selfless and signing autographs for crowds of Dubliners, convinced she was Grande.
