DANIEL O’DONNELL’s remaining UK tour dates have been rescheduled for early 2014, in the wake of his father-in-law’s death.
Venues including Croydon, Cardiff and Manchester have been able to rearrange alternative concert dates; however, O’Donnell’s Norwich performance has been cancelled as the venue is unavailable.
Television appearances that he was scheduled to make in the UK and Ireland have also been cancelled, but it is not yet known if or when these will be rescheduled.
The singer had originally cancelled the final leg of his tour when his father-in-law, Tom Roche, was taken critically ill in Tenerife last week.
Sadly, he died soon after on October 15.
According to O’Donnell’s management Mr Roche was cremated last Friday in Tenerife, with close family in attendance at the small funeral ceremony.
The release date of O'Donnell's new album A Picture Of You has been moved to November 8 in Ireland; the UK release date is still November 11.
The following UK tour dates that were cancelled have now been rescheduled:
Tuesday 28th January - Croydon
Wednesday 29th January - Eastbourne
Friday 31st January - Plymouth
Sunday 2nd February- Cardiff
Monday 3rd February - Llandudno
Sunday 6th April- Manchester
