LIAM Gallagher performed his first ever solo concert in Manchester, with profits from the gig donated to the families of those who died in the city’s terror attack.
The former Oasis frontman performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on May 30.
The 44-year-old placed 22 candles on stage as he paid a poignant tribute to those who died in his hometown last Monday.
Liam said he had wanted to "try and help people pick up” in the wake of the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert at the nearby Manchester Arena.
He told Manchester Evening News: “I just knew I had to. I’m not in it for the money. The gig was going to happen anyway and we all have to do what we can.
"I want to try and help pick people up. People like me, doing what we do, it’s our duty to give people a good time.”

The crowd chanted “stand up for the 22” during the singer’s one hour set.
He showcased new tracks from his upcoming debut solo album As You Were, but Oasis’ classic tunes were a particular hit with the audience.
There was no reunion with brother Noel, following the band’s split in 2009, but founding Oasis members Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs joined Liam on stage for a rendition of Be Here Now.
At the end of the gig, Liam performed an acapella encore of Live Forever, letting the crowd join in in an emotional rendition.
Liam announced a number of dates last week for his upcoming tour - including a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on June 10.
He will also be performing in London and Glasgow.
