IRISH heartthrob Colin Farrell has been turning several more heads recently, but it’s not because of his six-pack or impressive biceps.
The Golden Globe winner was sporting a fuller figure, a thick moustache and glasses as he was spotted filming The Lobster alongside actress Lea Seydoux in Kerry.
It is quite the transformation, as it was only a fortnight ago that Farrell walked the red carpet at the IFTAs looking suave suited in his black-tie.
Farrell is playing the title role, whilst Rachel Weisz takes on the lead female role.
The Lobster is a story of romance set in the near future, where single people are arrested and transferred to the 'Hotel', where they must find a suitable match in 45 days.
Those that fail are transformed into an animal of their choice and released into the woods.
In this story, a desperate man breaks the rules and escapes to the woods where he falls in love.
This is the first English-language film by Oscar-nominated director Yorgos Lanthimos.
The Lobster is funded by the Irish Film Board and produced by Element Pictures.
