COLIN Farrell is captured in a passionate embrace with co-star Jessica Chastain in newly unveiled images of his latest film.
The official pictures of Miss Julie have been revealed ahead of the movie’s release, and other stills show the Dubliner and the Oscar nominee looking down the camera lens dressed in full period costume.
The Irish heartthrob filmed the forthcoming film adaptation of August Strindberg’s 1888 play in Co Fermanagh last summer, which was directed by Norwegian actor-director Liv Ullmann.
Chastain plays the part of an unsettled daughter of the Anglo-Irish aristocracy who begins an illicit affair with Farrell’s character that ends in tragedy.
Miss Julie is the second movie Farrell has worked on in Ireland within the past year, after recently filming The Lobster in Co Kerry.
