Coleen Nolan's son told to remain humble despite his band's success

COLEEN Nolan’s son, who’s band Rixton is currently cracking the US, has admitted that his parents would “kill us all” if they let fame get to their heads.

Jake Roche – the lead singer of the rising band – also revealed that his mother and father, Eastenders star Shane Richie, would also be unimpressed if they spoke to anyone “in a rude manner.”

Signed up by Justin Bieber’s manager Scotter Braun, Rixton recently reached number six in the US charts with their debut single Me and My Broken Heart, which is due to be released in the UK this week.

Despite the band’s success, however, they appear to have remained grounded.

The Manchester four-piece – including Roche, Lewi Morgan, Charley Bagnall and Danny Wilkin – were seen travelling on the London Underground from their Shepherd’s Bush hotel to Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park and then onto Hyde Park’s British Summer Time Festival over the weekend.

“We love it. Coming from the North, the Tube’s still a real novelty for us,” Roche said.

Over in the US Rixton find it harder to go unnoticed, as they are mobbed by fans and paparazzi after being discovered there by radio DJ Ryan Seacrest.

Rixton are set to release their new single Me And My Broken Heart on July 13
