ENGLISH actor Kit Harington has taken a stab at an Irish accent in an episode of Amazon series Modern Love.
In the episode, Harington falls for a woman on the Galway to Dublin train and they arrange to meet up, only for the Coronavirus outbreak to scupper their plans.
Harington’s former Game of Thrones co-star Amelia Clarke attempted an Irish brogue recently but uttered only a few words.
However Harington actually impresses with his accent offering throughout the 35-minute episode — entitled Strangers on a (Dublin) Train — winning approval from viewers.
Perhaps the years spent filming Game of Thrones in Northern Ireland alongside Dubliner Liam Cunningham have paid off.

While Harington has produced a convincing offering, Irish accents aren’t the easiest to master, even for Hollywood stars.
