THE VOICE winner Andrea Begley has announced details of her first headline shows since her win.
Begley will perform two dates – the first at Ulster Hall in her home-city of Belfast (November 3) and second at the Union Chapel in Islington, London (November 4).
The Voice winner’s début single My Immortal, which she sang in the final of the BBC show, reached Number 30 in the UK Singles Chart last week.
On being crowned winner of the BBC series, the 26 year old secured herself a record deal with Universal Music.
Led by her mentor Danny O’Donoghue, lead singer of Irish band The Script, Begley was able to overcome her visual impairment that she developed at the age of six and beat finalists Leah McFall, Mike Ward and Matt Henry
Prior to achieving winning the competition, she was studying a Masters Degree in Law and gigging around Belfast.
Musical talent also runs through the family, as her aunt is Irish country singers Philomena Begley.
Begley is now working on her début album, and is aiming for this to be released before next year’s series of The Voice UK begins.
