ROY KEANE, if not the most successful living Irish footballer of all time, is definitely the most controversial.

Born Roy Maurice Keane, on August 10, 1971 in Co.Cork, he is as popular here as he is back home.

His time at Manchester United, a reign which saw them collect 17 major trophies, provided the British premiere league with plenty of Celtic passion.

His pace and passion on the pitch has always been matched by his dry wit off the pitch, here we look back at some the Corkman’s best moments.
