Irish dancer with 'fastest feet in the world' makes dance tribute video to celebrate 100 years of Irish independence

IRISH dancer James Devine is a World Record Holder for the "fastest feet in the world", with an astonishing 38 taps per second.

Working with five-time World Champion Irish Dancer David Geaney from Dingle, County Kerry, Devine from Ardnacrusha, County Clare, has created a 1916 tribute dance video, called 'Velocity'.

The video mixes Irish dancing with footage from some of Ireland's proudest moments in politics, history and sports.

The video has amassed over 80,000 views on Facebook.
