Ryanair launches new 'business class' service

IN A further move away from its no frills image Ryanair has now introduced a new ‘business class’ service, which will include the option to fast track airport security from a number of British airports.

The budget airline will now offer its customers the choice of flying Business Plus.

The new product will give passengers the chance to experience a more executive flight and take advantage of a range of benefits.

While Ryanair planes won’t be remodelled to provide a separate business class section on its aircraft, perks will include ticket change flexibility, an allowance of 20kg for checked-in baggage as well as priority boarding and premium seats.

Fast track airport security will also be available at selected airports, including East Midlands, Liverpool, London Stansted, Manchester, Dublin, Barcelona, Brussels Charleroi and Milan Bergamo.

The new service will start at about £56 (€69.99).

The new service, aimed at the one in four Ryanair passengers who currently travel on business, comes as the airline announced its summer 2015 schedule.

It will now offer three new routes from Stansted airport to Cologne, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There will also be new flights to Brussels Zaventem, Cologne and Glasgow from Dublin airport as well as increased frequencies on 12 other routes.
