AS THE iconic Battersea Power Station undergoes its long awaited redevelopment an Irish firm will be on hand to ensure the site stays clear of waste as the transformation takes place.
O’Donovan Waste Disposal has secured the contract to remove all waste created while the legendary site is turned into luxury flats.
Commissioned to do the job by J. Coffey Construction, O’Donovan will supply skips and roll on/off bins for the project.
The London-based Irish company, founded by Cork man Joe O’Donovan over 50 years ago, is now run by his four children, with daughter Jacqueline O’Donovan heading up the firm as Managing Director.
“We are always delighted to work with J. Coffey and collaborating on this landmark project is no exception,” she said. We invest heavily in both our staff and our equipment to ensure we can deliver the very best service to clients.”
Abas Gjutaj, plant manager at J. Coffey, said: “O’Donovan isn’t your usual skip company; they are easy to deal with and always operate efficiently.”
