Michael Flatley to be honoured at Irish Post VIP Business Gala Dinner

GLOBAL dance superstar and entrepreneur Michael Flatley has been announced as the guest of honour at this year’s Irish Post VIP Business Gala Dinner.

The London-based performer will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the October 31 event.

Flatley first found fame with Riverdance when he led a troupe of dancers in the television interval act at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin.

He has since gone on to create and produce many highly successful dance shows including Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger.

He will be joined at the event by City A.M. Editor Allister Heath, who will be the event's keynote speaker.

An influential voice in London’s business community, Heath will discuss the importance of the trade and economic relationship between Britain and Ireland.

Commenting on guest of honour Flatley, Irish Post Editor Siobhán Breatnach said the newspaper is “thrilled to welcome Michael Flatley to our inaugural VIP Gala Dinner".

She added: "As a worldwide legend of both dance and business, Michael has been a champion and ambassador for Irish creative talent and his entrepreneurial spirit has been an inspiration to many.

“We are also delighted to have City A.M. Editor Allister Heath as our keynote speaker and look forward very much to his dazzling and expert insights on British-Irish business relations."

The Irish Post’s inaugural VIP Business Gala Dinner takes place on October 31 at London’s Dorchester Hotel.

The black tie event, featuring key personalities and speakers from the world of business, promises to be a great night’s entertainment at one of London’s most iconic venues.

The VIP Gala Dinner is the culmination of The Irish Post’s VIP series of business magazines, launched this year to highlight the success and contribution of Irish business leaders and companies in Britain across industries such as construction, legal and finance.

City A.M. is also a proud media partner of the VIP Business Gala Dinner.
