THE IRISH POST Awards is set to return in 2014 following a successful event in London earlier this year.
The Irish Post Business Gala Dinner & Awards 2013, sponsored by Careys and Allied Irish Bank GB, took place at The Dorchester Hotel on October 31 and drew over 400 guests along with key personalities and speakers from the world of business.

Next year’s event moves to The Hilton Park Lane in London and will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2014.

As well as being an excellent business event for the Irish in Britain, last October’s Irish Post Business Gala Dinner & Awards also proved to be a great night’s entertainment at one of London’s most iconic venues.
Eamonn Holmes was Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Michael Flatley received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ray O’Rourke KBE was honoured with an award for his Outstanding Contribution to Business in Britain.
Founder and CEO of Alexander Mann Solutions, Rosaleen Blair, accepted the award for Company of the Year, while Addison Lee chairman John Griffin was honoured with the Business Person of the Year award.
City A.M. Editor Allister Heath and irishcentral.com founder, New York-based Niall O’Dowd, were the keynote speakers at the event and gave their thoughts on the Global Irish as well as the British and Irish economic relationship.
Among the guests that attended on the night were Irish Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin, Irish Ambassador to Britain Dan Mulhall, Fashion Designer Paul Costelloe, Sir Peter Bottomley MP and Baroness Virginia Bottomley, Ireland rugby legend Peter Stringer, London Irish Rugby’s Tomás O’Leary and author Jeffrey Archer.
