YOUNG Irish professionals recently came together in London for a networking event which boasted an inspiring guest speaker.
The latest gathering of the BITAx group, a new chapter of the British Irish Trading Alliance (BITA) focused on young Irish professionals, took place at Dickie’s Bar in Corrigan’s restaurant in Mayfair.
There guest speaker Will Polston, a mindset strategist who is a former TEDx speaker and founder of Make it Happen, shared his insights on what it means to be successful and how to achieve your goals.
BITAx members were also treated to the incredible vocals and music of singer-songwriter Frankie Swain.
Established last year, BITAx’s mission statement is to be the main networking organisation for young professionals in the UK and Ireland, as well as offering advice to those that want to move to either country and develop career opportunities.
“Ultimately, we want young people to realise how beneficial networking can be for their careers and be able to attend networking events they can look forward to,” a spokesperson said.
“We have some exciting events lined up offering great opportunities to make new connections and get advice from industry leaders, including more networking evenings and an event at the Irish Embassy,” they added.
BITAx membership costs £76 for 12 months.
