COMEDIAN Joanne McNally has shared her delight after the Boots brand opened its first ever beauty destination store in Ireland.
The British chain officially launched the store, which is located in Cork’s New Half Moon Street, today.
Described by the brand as “the first store of its kind in Ireland”, it will feature a vast selection of iconic beauty, skincare, and haircare brands.
McNally, a stand-up comic, writer and podcast host, who was born in Roscommon but raised in Dublin, claims the new store, which is open just in time for the Christmas shopping period, “has it all”.
"I’m convinced that the new Boots store in Cork was built specifically for me,” she said. “It’s like they raided my beauty wishlist and put it all in one glorious location.”

The new store will showcase global beauty powerhouses and cult favourites, including MAC, Too Faced, Benefit, Fenty, Milk, R.E.M., Urban Decay, Kylie Cosmetics, Huda Beauty and Sol de Janeiro.
Skincare brands on offer will include the likes of Kiehl's, Dr Jart+, and The Ordinary, as well as luxury offerings from YSL, Chanel, Armani, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Clarins, and Liz Earle.
