PASSENGERS travelling between Ireland and the East of England will be delighted to hear that Irish regional airline CityJet is to operate a new flight route from Dublin to Cambridge.
The airline will provide the twice daily flights from May 12 taking a maximum of 50 travellers at a time.
CityJet was founded by Pat Byrne in 1992 and began operations between London City Airport and Dublin under a franchise agreement with Virgin Atlantic Airways.
London City Airport is still used extensively by the airline, to operate its London to Paris route on behalf of Air France.
