Irish eyes were smiling for Mayo-born Rose Keane - the winner of this year’s Sean McDermotts GAA car draw.
Rose who now lives in Olton, Birmingham had her ticket drawn by boxer Mathew Macklin at a recent event at Casey Joe’s to mark another great year for the GAA club.
“I was in another car draw for years and never had any luck but this win has just stunned me,” Rose said. “It could not have come at a better time as I was just looking at changing the car I had as well.”
McDermotts GAA vice chair Stephen McGerr said: “We have had a great year and we are all looking forward to 2012.”
